Online
Test Score
Processing
A
preliminary score report is
provided when each test
participant completes an
online knowledge-based assessment.
The preliminary total score will
be
displayed in the Client Services
Center.
If
the "display scores" option was
selected at the time your order
was
placed, each test participant will
see their scores at the completion
of their
online knowledge-based assessment.
If this option was selected, the
test taker
will also be able to print a copy
of their preliminary score or
email a copy to
their email
account.
Releasing Online User
Codes
Upon
completion of all assessment
components (e.g., knowledge-based,
skill-based, or
both), online user codes must be
released to NOCTI for official
score processing. User codes may be released
to
"groups" designated by the Site
Coordinator (using the Manage
Groups feature in the Client
Services Center) to provide
averages for specific groups of
test
takers.
Titles with user codes ready to be released
will be highlighted in the expanded
view. Release user codes by
following these instructions:
- Click on the test title highlighted to open the list of user codes.
- Click on the box in the Release for Scoring column to select the user code(s) to be released, or click on the Select All box to release all user codes that are ready.
- Click the Release User Codes button.
- Select the release type by clicking on Select release type and selecting an option.
- Release by participant test date will group participants by the date they started testing. If your participants completed testing on different dates and you select this option, a report will be created for each test date.
- Release to group opens an option to select the Release Group. Click on Select a group and select the desired group from the list available. If you have not created any groups, return to Manage Groups and create groups to use this option.
- Click the Release button to finish the process.
- Official score reports will be available within two business days.
Score
reports automatically group
participant scores by the actual
test date if the scores are not
released to a specified
group.
Grouping allows
you to ensure that
participants completing testing on
different days are reported on the
same
score report, "grouped" (by test
title), if desired. Also, participants testing
on the same days
can be grouped to create separate
reports (e.g., separate the scores
for the AM
and PM sections of a
program). The
decision to group must be made
prior to releasing user codes for
scoring.
Official
score reports will not be
processed until user codes have
been
released.
By
taking the time to organize and
accurately complete the answer
sheets and
accompanying materials, you can
expect prompt and accurate scoring
services.
