Once all required assessment
components are
complete, the Coordinator releases user
codes through the Client Services Center (CSC)
to begin official score
processing. Required components may
include knowledge-based written testing,
skill-based performance ratings, if
applicable, and any required
demographics or administration
steps.
Before Releasing User
Codes
Before releasing user codes,
Coordinators should confirm that:
- All required assessment components are
complete
- Skill-based performance ratings have been
entered accurately and completely (if
applicable)
- Test taker information is accurate
- Any required groups have been created and
reviewed
Official score reporting does not
begin until user codes have been
released.
In most cases, Coordinators must
manually release user
codes. In some scenarios, the
system may release codes automatically. When
this occurs, no additional action is
required.
How to Release User
Codes
- Go to Manage Testing
in the CSC
- Select the highlighted test title to
view available user codes
- In the Release for Scoring
column, select the checkbox for
each user code to release, or choose
Select All to release all available user
codes at once
- Click Release User Codes
- Select the release method:
- Select By Test Date to
group test takers by their test
start date. If test
takers completed testing on
different dates, separate reports will be
generated for each test
date.
- Select By Group when reports
should follow groups created in Manage
Groups. This is recommended for
structured reporting. To release by
group, open the Release Group
options, choose Select a
Group, and select the desired
group from the list. If no groups are
available, go to Manage
Groups to create them before
continuing.
