As part of the standard assessment package, NOCTI
provides a comprehensive report of the participant results. The standard
scoring package for post-tests includes a group report, analysis of scores, individual
score reports for both the knowledge-based and skill-based portions of the
assessment, and competency level reports for both the group and individual
participants. Score report packages for
pre-testing do not include the analysis of scores. Score reports are provided electronically
at the Client Services Center.

A Score Interpretation
Quickview is available at the Client Services Center. This one-page summary is provided to help you
interpret the scoring information and is useful for presenting scoring
information to others including administrators, teachers, parents and students.
Reports Package
- Group Score Report: This report gives total and standard scores for each participant based on the testing group.
- Analysis of Scores: This report provides data on how the scores compare to group, state, and national averages, for total score and each standard, for the testing group.
- Individual Scores: This report displays the individual's scores and the group averages for testing group, site, state, and nation, for each standard and the total score. If the individual took a pre-test, the pre-test scores are displayed as well as the percent change of score from pre- to post-test.
- Competency Report: This report provides scoring data at the competency level at the individual and group level.
Score
reports for online administrations are available two business days from the
date the user codes are released from the Client Services Center. A notification email is sent to the Site
Coordinator when the score reports are available at the Client Services
Center.
Score
reports for paper/pencil administrations are available at the Client Services
Center within a few days after receipt of answer sheets at NOCTI, and typically
no later than two weeks (10 business days) from the date the answer sheets are
received at NOCTI, providing that correctly completed answer sheets have been
submitted. Answer
sheets that cannot be scored may be returned to the Site Coordinator for
completion/correction and additional fees may be charged for NOCTI to make
corrections.
