Many NOCTI credentials can be used as both pre- and post-tests to help programs measure learner progress and evaluate program effectiveness.
Pre-tests help identify learner strengths and areas for growth early in the learning process. Post-tests help capture measurable outcomes after instruction or training has taken place.
After the post-test is administered, the standard score report package includes a pre/post-test comparison report. This report provides useful data that can help programs review learning gains, identify areas where additional support may be needed, and guide ongoing curriculum and program improvement.
To support meaningful comparisons, sites must allow at least 30 days between the pre- and post-test administrations.
The same learner name, unique ID, and test version, including the test code and version number, must be used for both administrations.
