Many NOCTI credentials may be administered as both pre- and post-tests, offering valuable insight into learner growth and program effectiveness.
Pre-tests help identify strengths and learning gaps, while post-tests provide meaningful outcome data. A pre/post-test comparison report is provided as part of the standard score report package after the post-test is completed. This powerful tool can be used to identify and address the factors that impact learning and skills as well as provide meaningful information for curriculum development and program improvement.
Sites should allow 30 days between pre- and post-testing to ensure valid and useful comparative data.
The same participant name, unique participant ID, and same version (test code and version number) of the test must be used for both the pre- and post-test administration to ensure accurate comparative reporting.
View the Pre-Test Policy for more details and before placing your assessment order.
