How do we access Digital Study Guides?
The Site Coordinator
- Receives an email communication when the order has been filled.
- Goes to Manage in the Client Services Center and selected Study Guides from the dropdown menu.
- Verifies the order is accurate and allocates the purchased guides to teachers.
NOTE: Teachers will need to be added under Manage, Teachers, before study guides can be allocated.
The Teacher
- Receives an email communication when the digital study guides have been allocated by the site coordinator.
- Logs in to the Teacher Resource Center. First-time login requires the user to create a new password.
- Goes to Manage, selects Study Guides, and clicks on the study guide title desired. Adds learner names and email addresses. Once assigned, tokens/pins (login credentials) for each learner can be emailed, printed in a list, or printed in a labels format.
- Utilizes the reports to track learner progress as a group or individually.
The Learner
- Goes to the digital study guide website (https://lms.nocti.org/login) and uses the token and pin to login.
- Uses the digital study guide to prepare for NOCTI testing.
How do we access Paper/Pencil Study Guides?
Each paper study guide booklet includes a one-time-use online user code, which is entered into NOCTI’s testing system.
The Site Coordinator
- Receives and manages the user codes through the Client Services Center.
- Assigns students to the appropriate user codes.
- Can print codes as needed (Print List, Print Labels, or Export to Excel) after selecting the test title.
NOTE: Pre-assignment is optional. Codes expire on June 30 of the current school year. Scores from practice questions are not retained in the Client Services Center.
The Learner
- Uses the assigned user code to access the online version of the study guide.
- Completes the practice questions, which mirror those in the printed booklet.
This process ensures students can use either paper or online formats while working with the same study guide content for test preparation.
